SAINT KALOLYTOS THE CAVE WITH THE HOLY WATER SPRING

This distinctive place of worship is located in the area of Acheleia in Paphos and is inextricably connected with the local religious tradition. It is a natural cave carved into the rock, which is dedicated to the memory of Saint Kalolytos, who according to local accounts was martyred by raiders. Within the cave a traditional miraculous holy water spring flows, making the site a hidden spiritual destination for solitary pilgrimage and prayer.
