SAINT MAVRIKIOS

This is a beautiful chapel which was erected to the east of the plain of Linidia, upon the foundations of an earlier historic church. The building was enlarged and fully embellished at the beginning of the 21st century with the assistance of the community, being now a popular destination for locals and tourists. The Saint is considered miracle-working for skin ailments, with the faithful following an old tradition of using damp earth from the church as a healing ointment
