SAINT NEKTARIOS

This most beautiful church is the central parish church of the community and was completed at the beginning of the 21st century in order to meet the worship needs of the faithful. It is a modern structure of Byzantine style with an impressive central dome and cladding of local stone. Its interior is adorned with a wood-carved iconostasis of exceptional craftsmanship and rich icon-painting decoration that is being completed gradually, being the spiritual centre of the village.
