SAINT NICHOLAS

This ancient, stone chapel is located to the west of Deryneia, within the territory of the British Bases, upon the old road that connected Famagusta with Nicosia. It is constructed with traditional sandstone and incorporates distinctive decorative motifs of medieval style. Historically, the church was the religious centre for the residents of the old settlement of Strovilia, while today its location restricts the conduct of unrestricted sacraments
