SAINT NICHOLAS

This historic church is the religious ornament of the mountain community and its construction coincides chronologically with the founding of the village itself. It is a single-chamber basilica with a characteristic wooden gabled roof, which has undergone certain architectural alterations and extensions over the course of the centuries. In the interior of the church rare Byzantine wall paintings are kept as well as an invaluable reliquary, offering a space of deep devotion for the faithful.
