SAINT PERNIAKOS (RUINS)

This small and isolated chapel is located in the occupied community of Fyllia in the Nicosia district. It is a very unadorned, single-chamber church built with the traditional stone of the area, which has suffered serious damage and abandonment over the course of the decades after the events of 1974. The name of the church is closely connected with local tradition and the place name, constituting a historical religious remnant for the displaced residents of the village.
