SAINT SPYRIDON

This traditional Orthodox church was established in the centre of Aradippou thanks to the efforts and the donations of the local faithful during 1963-1965. It is the principal core of worship for the community of the Old Calendarists of the Larnaca district. Built on a plot that was granted in memory of a victim of a road accident, the church functions as a spiritual refuge and point of reference. Its erection within just two years demonstrates the faith and the devotion of the residents of the area, who honour with reverence the memory of Saint Spyridon every year.
