SAINT SPYRIDON

This parish church is the religious centre of the community and is built in the old residential core of the village. It is a stone-built structure in the style of a single-aisled basilica, which bears impressive groin vaults and an ornate stone bell tower. Its interior is particularly devotional and houses a wood-carved iconostasis of exceptional craftsmanship with old icons of great historical value.
