SAINTS 13 VENERABLE MARTYRS OF MONASTERY OF KANTARA & SAINT PHANOURIOS

This small and devotional chapel is built beside the monastery of Saint Barbara, on the road that leads towards Stavrovouni. It is a single-chamber building which externally is fully faced with the traditional stone of the area. It was built to honour jointly the memory of the thirteen monks who were martyred in the past, as well as Saint Phanourios. The site offers complete tranquillity and opens for the faithful mainly on the days of the corresponding religious feasts
