ARMENIAN CHURCH OF SAINT STEPHEN

This is a historic church in the centre of Larnaca, which was built at the beginning of the 20th century in memory of the victims of the Adana massacre. The church is the main spiritual and national centre for the Armenian community of the city, keeping its traditions alive. In the interior of the church precious relics and historical memorials are housed, while the entire structure bears distinctive architectural elements that attest to the long-standing presence and contribution of the Armenians in Cyprus
