ARCHANGEL MICHAEL

The Holy Church of the Archangel Michael is located in the southern part of the community of Souni-Zanatzia in the Limassol district. It was erected upon the ruins of an earlier church of an unknown period and was officially inaugurated in 1983. Architecturally it belongs to the type of the three-aisled cruciform basilica with a dome, while its interior is decorated with a multitude of noteworthy works of modern icon painting
