CHAPEL OF SAINT STYLIANOS, LINOPETRA

This small stone religious building is located within the boundaries of the refugee housing estate of Linopetra and is a particularly beloved place of worship for the local community. Its erection took place at the end of the 1980s, in order to replace a makeshift prefabricated structure of the Town Planning Department that had been completely destroyed by fire. The church is designed as a single-aisled basilica, clad externally with the traditional stone of the area of Kyvides, while its interior is adorned with modern icon paintings that were completed during its recent renovation.
