CHURCH OF SAINT MARINA AND SAINT THERAPON

Almost in the centre of the village is the large church, dedicated to Saint Marina and Saint Therapon, the patron Saints of the place. Its construction was deemed necessary, as the two small churches were not sufficient for the growing number of faithful, particularly after 1974 with the settlement of refugees in the village. After efforts and fundraising, the church was completed in 1996 and fully finished in 2002, when it was consecrated by the Metropolitan of Kition, Chrysostomos.
