CHURCH OF SAINT MARINA

The chapel of Saint Marina is an architectural ornament located in the heart of Kato Lefkara. Built during the period of the 18th century, it stands out for its traditional external stonework of local stone, fully harmonised with the picturesque vernacular architecture of the area. Internally, the church preserves an unadorned Byzantine structure with a flat ceiling and is decorated with religious iconography. Its imposing vaulted bell tower dominates the site, calling the faithful each time a divine liturgy is celebrated, particularly on the day of the feast of the Saint on 17 July
