CHURCH OF SAINT GEORGE

This impressive church is the central church of the community and is located very close to the central square. The building presents a very distinctive Gothic architectural line and was erected on the site of an earlier church. In its interior the beautiful wooden iconostasis stands out, while the historical icon of the Saint that was saved is kept for protection in a neighbouring building.
