CHURCH OF SAINT SILOUANOU

The picturesque Chapel of Saint Silouan the Athonite is located in the community of Souni-Zanatzia in the Limassol district. It is a modern, stone-built chapel with a traditional timber tiled roof, which harmonises fully with the natural forest of the area. Unfortunately, during the catastrophic fires that struck mountainous Limassol in the summer of 2025, the church suffered very serious damage with the result that its roof collapsed and only its external masonry was saved
