CHURCH OF SAINT SPYRIDON

This particular parish church is located in the Strovolos II Housing Estate in Nicosia and was originally created for meeting the religious needs of the displaced refugees after 1974. The first makeshift structure was replaced by the present modern church, which was completed with the assistance of the faithful at the turn of the century. It is an active spiritual centre with rich charitable and catechetical activity for the wider area.
