CHURCH OF APOSTLE ANDREW

This imposing church is located in the Platy area of Aglantzia and was originally created to serve the spiritual needs of the refugees after the events of 1974. After a first temporary prefabricated structure, the present monumental building was completed and inaugurated in the mid-1980s thanks to large donations from displaced faithful. A modern spiritual centre has been added to the complex that hosts a wealth of social and catechetical activities of the community. Today it is a central parish point of reference of Nicosia, suitable for the celebration of every kind of religious sacrament
