It is a three-aisled vaulted basilica that bears an impressive, multi-storey stone bell tower with ornate carvings. The interior of the church impresses with its enormous, gold-embellished wood-carved iconostasis and its rich decoration, while in the same space the noteworthy Ecclesiastical Museum of the community is also housed with rare icons and relics
