CHURCH OF HOLY FORERUNNER ERIMI

In the centre of the community of Erimi, next to the buildings of the Community Council, is the Holy Church of the Holy Forerunner. It is an impressive stone-built single-aisled basilica, which stands out for its exceptionally thick walls and its rich carved sculptural decoration. At the south-eastern corner of the building an ornate stone bell tower rises, while its entrances are adorned with relief pediments and a beautiful mosaic icon
