CHURCH OF SAINT GEORGE

The small and historic church of Saint George is located in the community of Kokkinotrimithia in the Nicosia district. The building follows the traditional Byzantine style and it is estimated that it was erected upon the foundations of an earlier Christian church. Owing to its limited interior space and its great archaeological value, it is not preferred for the celebration of well-attended sacraments, but remains an important monument of religious heritage that adorns the centre of the village.
