CHAPEL OF SAINT GEORGE (KAMAROUDI)

This is a small and unadorned chapel which is built at the location of Kamaroudi, along the road that connects Pissouri with the village of Alektora. Its erection was completed at the end of the 1950s at the expense of a private benefactor of the area, while its official inauguration took place a good many years later. Owing to its very limited size, the church functions mainly as a place of pilgrimage and opens its doors for a festal divine liturgy on Bright Wednesday
