CHAPEL OF PANAGIA ELEOUSA

The Chapel of Panagia tis Eleousas is one of the three religious monuments of the community of Agia Anna in the Larnaca district. It is built at the exit of the village in the direction of Psevdas, dominating the top of a small rise. Its construction carries a deeply moving history, since it was built by a soldier of 1974 who was saved from the enemy lines thanks to his faith. Its plain, stone architecture and the panoramic view offer an ideal, serene refuge for prayer as well as for the celebration of family sacraments
