CHAPEL OF SAINT NAPAS

This isolated and ancient chapel is built on the western bank of the Kouris river, just outside the community. It is a rare single-aisled domed church, which bears a distinctive internal architectural variation in the support of its roof. In its interior precious remains of authentic wall paintings survive, while the surrounding area testifies to the existence of an old medieval settlement or small monastic complex
