CHAPEL OF SAINT GEORGE (RUINS)

This ruined chapel is found in the community of Armou in Paphos and is a protected ancient monument of the area. Despite the extensive destruction that the building has suffered, the site presents particular historical interest since within the remaining walls a few traces of old, authentic wall paintings still survive. Owing to its condition, the holding of religious ceremonies is not possible, with the site functioning exclusively as a historical testimony of the long ecclesiastical heritage of the village.
