CHAPEL OF SAINT GEORGE

This historic chapel is built on the north-eastern slope of the settlement and functions as the cemetery church of the area. Its construction dates back to medieval times, preserving authentic doors of Byzantine style and rare sections of an ancient iconostasis. Owing to its great archaeological and religious value, some of its most precious relics are today kept in the local Byzantine Museum.
