CHAPEL OF SAINTS CONSTANTINE, HELEN & ARGYRIS

This distinctive and modern private chapel is located on the road that connects Dhekelia with occupied Acheritou, on the boundaries of Avgorou. It was erected entirely through the personal labour of the father and the family of Konstantinos Christofidis, who lost his battle with leukaemia at the age of 17, and it is also dedicated to the memory of his great-grandmother, Argyri, who died as a refugee. The small stone-built church, which was inaugurated in 2022, is a spiritual refuge dedicated to all the children who are suffering or have suffered from leukaemia, offering consolation and shared experiences of support to their families.
