CHAPEL OF APOSTLE ANDREW (AIS DRIKAS)
This very small and plain chapel is dedicated to the Apostle Andrew, bearing the local dialect name “Ais Ntrikas”. It is located in the rural countryside of the free community of Avgorou and is a classic example of the simple vernacular architecture of the Kokkinochoria with a low height and whitewashed masonry. The church serves mainly the individual worship needs of the farmers of the surrounding area and opens to the public during its annual religious feast on 30 November. [1]
