HOLY MONASTERY OF PANAGIA EVANGELISTRIA

This is a convent which is located on the boundaries of the communities of Paramytha and Palodia, beside the main road axis towards Alassa. The monastery was founded in the middle of the 20th century at a location where a traditional inn formerly operated. The monastic complex includes an original smaller church and a later, larger church that was built at the end of the 1980s, while the entire area was fully redeveloped after a destructive fire in 2005
