HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT ANNA

This historic and devotional church is located in the centre of Paralimni and is the oldest surviving religious monument of the area. It is a building of Byzantine tradition that received later Gothic influences, while in its interior a wood-carved iconostasis of exceptional craftsmanship of the 17th century stands out. Owing to its invaluable historical worth, the site today also functions as a religious museum, housing a rare collection of ecclesiastical relics, old books and icons.
