HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT BARBARA

This magnificent church is dedicated to the protector and co-patron of Paralimni, the Great Martyr Saint Barbara, and is located in the eastern part of the town. It is the central spiritual ornament of the homonymous refugee housing estate, having an imposing structure, a well-kept forecourt and a beautiful, recently renovated green space beside it. Every year at the beginning of December, the parish is transformed into a point of attraction for hundreds of faithful from across the free Famagusta district, who flock to venerate her grace.
