HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT MARINA

This is the historic and imposing main church of Achna, which was completed at the beginning of the 20th century. After the events of 1974, the church lies within the occupied zone and remains inaccessible for the conduct of sacraments, having suffered desecration and been converted into a military observation post. It is the foremost symbol of religious memory and nostalgia for the displaced residents of the area, who built their new church in Dasaki in remembrance of it.
