HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT PARASKEVI

The Holy Church of Saint Paraskevi is the central parish church of the community of Ergates in the Nicosia district. The imposing building was founded at the end of the 1960s to meet the growing worship needs of the residents of the area. The church is distinguished for its large bell tower and its spacious interior, which is decorated with modern iconography and an ornate iconostasis. It is the focal point of the religious events of the village, particularly during the annual festival on 26 July.
