HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT GEORGE GENAGRON
This is a very distinctive medieval church in the occupied village of Genagra in Mesaoria, which is built partly above an underground cave. The original building was extended during the period of the Frankish rule and was joined with the cave space, which functions as the sanctuary. Owing to the Turkish occupation since 1974, the church is not accessible for sacraments, however recently it received full consolidation and conservation of its architectural structures and its remaining wall paintings by the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage.
