HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT EPIFANEIOS (RUINS)

This is the central parish church of the occupied community of Milia in the Famagusta district, dedicated to Saint Epiphanios. The church was the focal point of the religious and social life of the fellow villagers until the uprooting and the exile of 1974. Although it is under occupation, in recent years the crossing of the displaced residents for the celebration of occasional moving liturgies is very rarely approved by the United Nations, but the holding of unrestricted weddings or baptisms remains unattainable
