HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT ANDREW BISHOPRIC

The Holy Church of the Apostle Andrew and All the Russian Saints is a unique architectural jewel in Episkopeio, built within the forecourt of the Metropolis of Tamassos. It was built on the basis of the Slavic ecclesiastical tradition and bears five impressive, gilded domes that were made specially in Saint Petersburg. Its interior is richly decorated with ornate icon paintings of Russian style, being a point of spiritual meeting for the local and the Russian-speaking Orthodox community.
