HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT ANTHONY

The modern central church of the community was erected during the second half of the twentieth century in order to serve the expanded worship needs of the residents. It is built on a dominant rise of the village, right beside the homonymous older stone-built church of the nineteenth century. The church is the religious core of the mountainous area, today housing the historical icons and the precious relics that were transferred from the adjacent original building.
