HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT GEORGE (RUINS)

This church is located in the occupied community of Kalo Chorio Kapouti in the Nicosia district, in the Morphou area. Owing to the events of 1974 and the Turkish occupation, the church does not operate normally and the displaced residents do not have free access to it. The building has been officially declared an ancient monument and preserves the ecclesiastical heritage of the area, constituting a symbol of remembrance and religious identity for the community.
