HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT GEORGE

This church is the central church of the community of Drinia in the Paphos district and is dedicated to Saint George. It is a stone-built structure of rough stone, which underwent extensive repair works during the middle of the 19th century. In the interior of the church the ornate wood-carved iconostasis stands out and precious religious icons, with the community festively celebrating the memory of the Saint on 23 April.
