HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT GEORGE

The old Holy Church of Saint George is a historic religious monument of the community of Kampia, which functioned as the original church of the village. The building follows the type of the single-aisled basilica and is constructed of local stone of the area, bearing the evident marks of traditional architecture. Today the church is maintained as a devotional Chapel, closely connected with the old traditions and the historical memory of the residents.
