HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT GEORGE

This majestic church is the central church of the community and is built in the old core of the village. The building follows the type of the three-aisled basilica and stands out for its tall, ornate bell tower that dominates the area. In its interior a wood-carved iconostasis of exceptional craftsmanship is housed as well as precious old icons. Its spacious precinct is the centre of the religious and social events of the residents throughout the year.
