HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT GEORGE

The Holy Church of Saint George is the modern central church of the community of Tremithousa in the Paphos district, replacing the older church of the village. Its erection began at the beginning of the twenty-first century and was officially completed with the inauguration of the church in the summer of 2004. It is a large, internally plain but imposing structure of Byzantine style with a dome, which externally is painted white and is surrounded by a beautifully arranged community park.
