HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT DEMETRIOS

The Holy Church of Saint Demetrios is a historic Greek Orthodox church located in the recently renovated central square of the community of Fyti in Paphos. This stone building of the nineteenth century stands out for its impressive bell tower, which is twice the height of the rest of the structure. In its interior a very beautiful, wooden and exceptionally well-preserved iconostasis is kept, while the community celebrates its festival every year on 26 October.
