HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT KYRIAKOS OF HERMIT

The Holy Church of Saint Kyriakos the Hermit is the patron and central church of mountainous Kampos tis Tsakkistras. It is an impressive vaulted timber-roofed building, which is considered the largest of its kind on the entire island. It was built at the end of the 19th century upon the foundations of an earlier church and houses in its interior the precious wood-carved iconostasis of Panagia ton Iliakon.
