HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT MAMAS

This is a small and extremely plain church that dates back to the years of Ottoman rule, bearing a characteristic wooden pitched roof. The building has a semicircular apse incorporated into the eastern wall, as well as a closed portico that extends along its northern side. In its interior a processional icon of the Saint of great historical value is kept with particular reverence, which is thought to date from the period of Frankish rule.
