HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT PANTELEIMON

This modern and imposing church is the main church of the community of Galata in the valley of Solea. Its construction began at the end of the 1980s and was fully completed in the mid-1990s in order to meet the growing needs of the residents. The building faithfully follows the traditional Orthodox models of church construction with a large central dome, while internally it is decorated with noteworthy depictions, such as the Platytera and the Annunciation. Owing to its large capacity, its central position and its comfortable surrounding area, the church is ideal for the celebration of weddings and baptisms
