HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT POLYDOROU

This modern church is located in the quarter of Kaimakli in Nicosia, very close to the ceasefire line in the North Pole area. It is the first and only church on the entire island that is dedicated to the New Martyr Saint Polydoros of Nicosia. Its erection began in the mid-2000s with the aim of meeting the constantly growing needs of the parish, offering a devotional space of prayer with an impressive height and well-crafted aesthetics.
