HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT FILOUMENOU OF CYPRIOT, OROUNTA

The recently erected church is dedicated to the modern hieromartyr Saint Philoumenos and is located in his birthplace, Orounta. Its construction is based on an innovative structural system of load-bearing masonry, showcasing traditional techniques in the modern era. It is an important spiritual centre of pilgrimage, closely connected with the neighbouring Holy Monastery of Saint Nicholas.
