HOLY CHURCH OF SAINTS KIRYKOU AND IOULITTIS

This exceptional Byzantine monument is located to the south-east of the community of Letymvou in the Paphos district and is dedicated to the memory of the martyrs Kyrikos and Ioulitta. It is a cross-in-square church with a dome, which is thought to have functioned as the katholikon of an old monastery that no longer survives. The stone-built building lies lower than the surface of the ground and houses in its interior important, preserved iconography that dates mainly to the end of the 15th century.
