HOLY CHURCH OF APOSTLE ANDREW

This magnificent church dominates the Platy area of Aglantzia in Nicosia. Its erection began initially with a makeshift prefabricated structure at the end of the 1970s, with the aim of immediately meeting the religious needs of the displaced refugees. The permanent and modern church was completed and officially inaugurated in the mid-1980s, and it has since been a very active spiritual, social and charitable core for the entire parish.
